In the quarter-century since the first review this pub doesn't appear to have altered much, at least not at a superficial level. Everything mentioned in earlier reviews is still observable, but there have been a few improvements, or maybe it's just matured. They still host live music, though that is less of a priority now, there are now two pool tables, and the beer quality is now good. Three ales on were Sea Fury, Doombar and Atlantic, all in good condition. The keg range was Neck Oil, Coors, Stella, Brixton, Cruzcampo and San Miguel, though strangely no cider. There are multiple TV screens, gaming machines, and the decor has slight Bohemian overtones, so the pub is trying to appeal to a wide range of customers. The barman was friendly and helpful, while none of the less conventional customers gave us more than a second glance. Not the sort of pub I might usually enjoy, but I' be happy to pop back in for a pint.

Finns advertises itself as Weymouth’s premier live music pub so I wasn’t surprised to find a dimly light and slightly grubby interior with lots of music posters on the walls. There is also a lot of American memorabilia and the jukebox was playing random songs which included the Doors and Nirvana. I doubt that there are any modern dance cd’s in their collection. There are a couple of plasma screens that were showing muted Olympic coverage and there is a pool table and three dartboards that are found either side of this U shaped pub. There is also a stage area to the left of the pub where the bands obviously set up.
The barmaid was friendly enough, but the few other punters in attendance weren’t the friendliest bunch. I think that they were wondering why a nosy bloke wearing white Reebok Classics had walked in to their pub!
I’m not a big fan of live music venues so I see no reason why I would return here if I ever found myself in Weymouth again.

I've never had the nerve to go in here and now it seems to have gone even further down-market - what a paint job!
