Visited 28/07/25. Visited previously as Creation Bar at hotel of same name on 03/07/23.

No cask. Basic keg offering of three from Camden, the Pale Ale, the Stout and the Hells!

The bar counter is on the left-hand wall just inside the entrance. Seating in this ceramic tiled area is largely via a cream leather banquette fitted around the front wall and infringing on the front part of the right-hand wall. Serves several small round tables with regular fabric upholstered chairs the other side thereof. In the middle part of the floor space are several back-to-back fabric sofas serving glass topped round tables. The area beyond the front bar area was regular tables and chairs laid for diners. Lighting was pleasant, no screens in sight and a middle of the road soundtrack at a low level.

This place appears to be called the Scoff & Banter now. All very nicely laid out, with peanuts on the bar, but it's a hotel bar which I won't be returning to.

After spending a lot for a Guinness in the Solution Bar across the road, I decided to have 1/2 this time. The barman easily got confused, couldn't find the correct glass. Got served in something that looked like a tall champagne glass, is that 1/2 pint? Has wheelchair access, so my rating is generous?
