The Boot and Shoe has an L-shaped bar counter in the right rear corner that supports a standard and premium keg range alongside Lords Brewing’s 80s Blonde and TT Landlord. A third handpump went unused. Along the front windows are two separate seating areas, both with banquettes and sofas. The slightly larger right hand side also has a fireplace. At the back of the pub are another couple of small seating areas to the left and right of the rear exit. Televisions are located throughout, but these were all off in favour of some Elvis playing from the jukebox in the distant background. Out the back is a large beer garden that houses a long marquee full of high tables and stools. To the left of the marquee are more tables for those who like a bit of sun.
I found the service to be friendly enough, but the locals around the bar were a bit frosty. Shame as this is an interesting pub.

I turned up here on a January Friday to find it quiet. It's an old pub that has low ceilings and a central bar serving various small areas or rooms off it. All the TVs were turned off on my visit but there was a music track playing. The young student barmaid was friendly enough and the one punter while I was there was an old bloke who had moved to Nantwich after losing his wife.
There were four hand pumps which had Landlord, Doom Bore and Fuggle Bunny Festive Fuggle & Cotton Tail. I went for the Festive Fuggle which I had to send back but the Cotton Tail (£3.60) which replaced it was fine. I found this place to be OK and thought at first it might be expensive but it's Nantwich itself that is expensive.

An old cottage style pub that sells national brand real ale. A beer garden out back has a large bouncy castle so naturally its full of screaming kids. Their owners all seem to think they're from Hollyoaks or Beverley Hills 90210(or whatever) and are so full of themselves its quite scary. It should be a decent boozer but like R A Ray says below the clientele are mostly tedious pricks and prickesses.
