The Turnpike House is the last remaining pub within sensible walking distance of Stamford Hill Rail station. So it’s a bit of a shame that it is one of the standard corner box local drinking houses offering the standard fizz drinks offerings that used to frequent every corner back in the day. Perfectly fit for purpose if you are local and like a drop of Guinness or Stella, but nothing here for me to return.

L shaped bar served a standard draught selection. Still retains the old bar gantry.

Large corner Pub unfortunately no real ale which would have made it a much better Pub
