This pub has a very good glazed tiled exterior and most attractive leaded windows with stained glass. There is a U shaped bar and two wings generally traditional furniture, and dining tables to the front. There is a small rear section which in turn leads to the large beer garden and the flatscreens were off and looked terrestrial only (ie 6 Nations). The food doesn't seem expensive for the area ,simple pub grub such as burgers £16.
At the bar the choice was Fullers Hophead and Bass (NBSS 3) with a Five Points Pale reversed but there were some interesting craft keg options.
The pub was quiet on my Monday evening visit but it seemed a decent place to enjoy a pint in the very upmarket area.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Albert

Attractive, albeit plainly decorated façade. Typical gastro-pub interior, with slightly rustic furniture around the 'U'-shaped bar. Extended with a small conservatory to one side, beyond which lies quite a spacious beer garden which is a pleasant place to sit with the sun out. Clientele seemed to be mostly Primrose Hill media types, so it was no surprise at all that the first person I saw on entering was well-known TV journalist. Three handpumps on the bar counter, offering an unadventurous choice of Greene King IPA, Doom Bar (£3.80) and Gales Spring Sprinter.
