Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about John Salt
Unbranded Youngs pub probably mostly aimed at the cocktail / wine bar market during the day and early evening and a late bar with DJs afterwards. Relatively unfussy semi-modern decor and uncluttered furniture in the main bar with more space on a mezzanine above. Too hip to offer real ale, and not a great selection from the keg taps either, but I opted for the Truman's Pale (OK, but badly overpriced, even for the area, at £5.85).

Big two level pub but no real ale - just the usual keg offerings. Not one to return to.

Strongers . left this review about Keston Lodge
Keston Lodge has gone under different guises over the years including a spell as an All Bar One, but it is now far removed from this as it is now a DJ orientated late licensed bar that shuts at 2:30am on Fridays and 3am on Saturdays. There is a cocktail bar on the mezzanine level and some premium lagers are available from the main bar and some decent Guinness is also present. Sharing platters are served from the kitchen and roast diners are served on Sundays. Most of the seating is around the walls leaving lots of standing space around the bar area which I hope is used for dancing rather than queuing.
I thought that it was very relaxed in here at 18:00 on Saturday afternoon and although I’m not one for dimly lit bars full of fairy lights I did settle in very quickly. I’m not sure how the atmosphere changes later in the evening, but if it remains chilled this would make a good destination pub for the late twenty crowds.
