Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bierschenke

Initially appears to be a fairly standard city bar, albeit one with a slightly awkward 'T'-shaped layout, but the five Bavarian founts start to indicate something different. Downstairs, there is a much larger bar with nine founts which - whilst it hardly represents a hall - at least has something of an appropriate atmosphere with table service staff in authentic-looking costume and the sort of menu that one might expect. Semi-modern furniture and decor throughout. Opted for the seasonal 'house' 5.6% FestBier (£10.50 for very heavy overfull-to-the-brim two pint stein which probably meant I got my money's worth). Overall, although initially dubious, I thought it did what it sets out to do pretty well.

Steve of N21 left this review about Bierschenke

Opened on June 12th , just in time for the world cup, the Bierschenke is billed as an authentic Munich Beer Hall in the centre of the City of London
Actually as far as the food and beers go then it does match with those authenticity claims, but as a shiny new build city bar, it can never match the ambience of the real thing.
Internally , its a large space on two levels, with both areas being light and airy wooden floored spaces (even the downstairs one which also benefits from some natural light) , with a decent sized standing area around each of the bars and then tables in the rest of the space. And both levels are festooned with several flat screen tele’s, which you certainly wouldn’t find in the real thing.
Its table service when seated and the food menu is traditionally Bavarian, i.e. lots of Pork and Sauerkraut. Nueremburg Sausages as a snack will set you back just shy of £6.00 and a Schweinshaxn is just shy of £16, unfortunately representing its location, as the real thing in the centre of Munich would be significantly cheaper.
As would be the beers, but if you want to try beers from Augustiner, Paulaner, Hacker Pschorr or Krombacher, then they are all here, alongside the house kellerbier and weissbeers which a bit of web searching told me are from Müllerbräu in Munich.
A Hacker Pschorr wheat beer set me back £5.20 and its £9.50 for a traditional stein of the house kellerbier, so London prices firmly in operation.
We visited to watch the Germany v USA game with a couple of colleagues who were over, and finally got in after queuing for ages.
Obviously our experience wasn’t representative of a normal day, but I got enough of the place to know that I could recommend it if you wanted to experience Bavarian beer and cuisine without forking out for the airfare to Munich itself.
