With so many tables reserved, it was hard finding somewhere to sit on a mid-afternoon Friday, despite the lack of crowds (is it really so hard to add the start time?). The one I took could certainly have done with a wipe-down.
There were 4 ales on the bar, 2 of them from George's Brewery; my Pale struggled to make it through the beer engine and I'm not sure it coped too well with the experience. The regulars, of whom a good crowd was building as we moved into the Friday post-work period, seemed to prefer the various lagers.
A simple though wide-ranging menu is also offered.
It's reasonable enough.

A posy pub with standard brown beers, OK if you like that sort of thing but not for the froth blowers amongst us.
