Greene King pub in Leigh-On-Sea town centre. This place was listed in the Good Beer Guide back in 2010, but I wasn't expecting too much. The bar is off to the left as you enter, with raised areas in front of the entrance and off to the right-hand side. Mood lighting made it feel fairly cosy.

There were 3 Greene King beers on cask - Abbot, Broker Best & Watch Room. A 4th beer was Mighty Oak Hare Today. Greene King Level Head was available on keg. I decided to try the Watch Room and found it to be a much better than average Greene King beer.

There are lots of TVs in here and it wasn't long before some Tottenham fans arrived and requested that a certain TV be switched on for a European game they would be playing.

Not a bad little pub. If I lived in Leigh, I would be happy to come here to watch any sporting events. The quality of the beer was an unexpected bonus.
