Can’t be too many times when a venue this big has a single paying customer. Especially when it is lunchtime in a Sunday in Brighton in summer (ok the last bit is reference to time of year rather than the actual weather). Like the previous place today I also seem to tick branches off of this chain but i suppose unlike the last place I have hit WA in London on and off over many years, particularly the long closed venue on Shaftesbury Avenue. This place is identikit to others I have been in but looks to try and create spaces for comfier viewing of big sporting events away from the melee of screens and bench seating near the bar.
Keg only obviously and nothing imaginative. Plenary of lagers as you would expect (Peroni, Heineken, Camden Hells, Moretti, Fosters), Guineas, Strongbow cider (standard and a flavoured one, presumably blackcurrant in case the chap from my start venue today is in) with then Brixton Reliance Pale Ale, Blue Moon and Wingman.
Music here was actually pretty damn good during my 20 min or so stay so made the place somewhat less depressing. As I leave to move on, still remained outnumbered by the two staff behind the bar (clearly they were not expecting a crowd in this afternoon).

Strongers . left this review about Wahoo
Wahoo West Beach was previously a Walkabout and to be honest not that much has really changed. There are still more screens for showing football than are really necessary and there is a shooter and cocktail menu. There’s not a sniff of a hand pump on the bar and the draught range is standard. This is a vast venue with a pool table to the right of the entrance. DJs are the norm here and stag/hen parties are welcomed with open arms.
There are more comfortable places to watch the football and I’m twice the age of the eighteen year olds this place is aimed at so I’ll not be returning.
