Not sure if this is a pub trying to be a wine bar or a wine bar trying to be a pub, but either way it has a U-shaped bar surrounded almost exclusively by high tables and stools, decorated in wine bar style. The two ales on pump were Gun Scaramanga and Long Man APA. A little more civilised than some of the nearby establishments but not really worth going out of your way for.

Suter’s Yard advertises itself as a wine bar so there is an extensive list and the bar supports some premium draught products. There are also two hand pumps; one of which was unused and I couldn’t fight my way around the U shaped bar to see what the other one was drawing. The furniture is mostly made up by high tables and chairs and this is the sort of place that puts candles in wine bottles and then places them in a the fireplace.
There was some background music playing and live music was advertised for intermittent upcoming weekends.

I found the service to be polite, but this isn’t really my sort of place so I’ll not be returning in any great hurry.

Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Great wine and peroni, becks and amstel on draught. Excellent food at great prices. Always consistent. I see they have a R n B eve coming up on 30th Jan with american style tapas. If it's anything like New year's eve it will be a good night. Remember to book, it gets busy.
