Strongers . left this review about The Waterloo
The Waterloo has a small L-shaped bar to the left of the entrance with a dartboard, but this was closed during a recent Tuesday early evening visit. The right hand side is larger with seating up the right-hand wall that is faced by the serving counter that supports standard and premium keg. Alas the two hand pumps were both unused so I ended up with half a generic lager. There’s a pool table around to the left rear and there was a bit of background music playing from the likes of Ozzy. The service was polite and the pub was comfortably busy, but I can’t see myself returning.

One of the nicer pubs in the immediate vicinity. Two rooms with the larger L-shaped room to the right. No real ale and fairly standard pub furniture inside.
