Real Ale Ray left this review about The Beehive Inn
An interesting large hill top pub built around 1830. The interior was traditional with low ceilings set in a country style manner and along with lots of good seating options to take in the ambience of the building. The pub was busy on our visit, so can't imagine what it would be like trying to get served in the summer months as this is a tourist trap. I didn't see any sign of the owners out front or behind the bar, just a couple of young staff running the place, in other words short staffed.
Beerwise four pumps with two in use serving Ossett Blonde and TT Landlord.
It's difficult enough getting here and the walk back down took a while as it was so steep, was glad to get to the next pub!
