Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Shakespeare's Head (JD Wetherspoon)

Despite its size, this is one of the more dingy Wetherspoons. However, beer quality is usually good, with seven different cask ales - the usual Greene King IPA, Doom Bar and Abbot plus Rev James, Mad Squirrel London Porter (£4.68), Marston's Old Empire IPA and Three Hops on Our Shirt from Southwark Brewing - from the two banks of six handpumps on this overdue revisit.

Classic mid 90's Victoriana Spoons interior which has been looked after - unlike the long pour cask Oakham JHB (NBSS 2) which was my pint of choice. Housed in an old bank and whilst the exterior is impressive, the interior is a bit Spoons-by-numbers; not unpleasant but little to linger in the memory. Near LSE so has a never-ending supply of students to keep the place busy. GBG'24 listed, which gives you an idea of the local outlets. 5.5

Yes, I've been here too but my review seems to have disappeared.
This is one of the better ones and is very handy for lack of a local public loo.
