With large plate glass windows and an open plan square interior there isn't much here of interest and the pine flooring and pine furniture are also uninspiring. There is a covered walkway to one side with a flatscreen and drinking shelf,a hangover from Covid ?
Originally there would have been a public bar and saloon, the strange shape of the bar indicates as such and the two doors are still functional but just lead to the large space .The pub was festooned by Rugby flags and Paddy's Day nonsence but it's not an Irish pub as such.
Food is served at lunchtimes M-F and there is a Sunday roast while the ale options were Sambrooks Wandle,Ruddles Best,Portobello Westway Pale and Star (NBSS 3 but a poor malty brew). That's not an exciting ale line up and unless I want to catch televised sport I am not sure why I would want to return.

Nice looking pub on the exterior with a basic but functional interior as described by Quinno and still decked out in flags as described by Tris C. It was pleasing to see six different ales on,but on closer inspection nothing really grabbed my attention, Caledonian XPA,Youngs Gold,Brains Bitter,Wells Bombardier Glorious English,Trumans Rio Gold and a revived Watneys Pale, I went for the Trumans but found it to be an average beer.
Like Tris below,i'm not likely to return anywhen soon.
