The Old Three Crowns has a short central bar along the left-hand wall that supports standard and premium keg alongside three hand pumps, two of which were in use drawing Theakston’s Old Peculiar and TT Landlord. There was karaoke going on in the front seating area so I found somewhere to sit in an area around to the left rear of the bar counter. A pool table is found here, as is access to a paved beer garden out the back. There was a decent crowd in for a Tuesday evening, but I don’t plan to return.

What looks like its going to be a nice traditional pub is sadly a bit of a dull place inside. Modernish single room with the bar to the left. 3 handpumps of not very interesting beers - Theakstons Bitter and Deuchars.

A nice old frontage sadly, leads into a very modern interior, which is much bigger than it looks from the outside. Dining tables and chairs throughout. There's a pool table and jukebox, both free, plus a dartboard. 3 handpumps all serving Theakstons beers. Bland beers in a bland pub, which is pleasant enough though.
