Strongers . left this review about Albion Inn

As I walked up the side of the Albion Inn I thought it was a trophy shop because there were so many in one of the windows, and having noted the abundance of trophies in the Joiners up the road I concluded that they love a trophy in Middleton. It was very busy in here during a recent Tuesday late afternoon visit and there was a DJ set up in the ‘trophy window’ on the left wall at the rear of some open plan split-level seating. An L-shaped serving counter sits on the rear wall where standard and premium keg products can be purchased from the polite staff. To the right is pool table and the televisions throughout were off for the disco, but Sky Sports is advertised. To the right of the pub is a decked area with picnic tables that is more of a smoking area. I’m never at my most comfortable when I walk into a pub mid party, so I wasn’t upset only be staying for a short while.

Tried to call in last night, but it was closed for a refurb. It's due to reopen next week, so I'll leave it as open.

Al Bundy left this review about The Albion Inn

An estate-style looking boozer. Open plan with a pool table to your right on entering. To the left is a raised area and to the side of that is a small stage. Its all a bit minty inside and there's no real ale. It was very quiet on this afternoon visit. A basic pub.
