The L-shaped bar counter in the Flying Coach is just to the left of the entrance. The only other customer was sat at the bar right by the entrance so I had to step around him to gain access to this large empty pub. In the front right is a seating area with a dartboard and old style jukebox that was delivering some background music, live music is advertised for every weekend. On the other side of the bar in the front left is a large snug and open plan seating is found in the left rear were a burner sits in an exposed brick fireplace. Out the back is a large beer garden.
Robinsons Old Tom and Unicorn (x2) where available alongside a Lilley’s cider. Standard keg was also available alongside Madri. This is a tidy pub that I got a good vibe off, even though the other customer was a massive twat. The service was friendly so I’d pop back in if passing at a busier time when I’m sure the welcome from the locals would be much more hospitable.

Modernised to within an inch of its life, this is almost no longer a pub. The "Tap Room" has a bench tabe and another small table in the corner with no sign of any traditional tap room games. There was a "do" of some kind on in the pub and it was full of orange women, so I couldn't really get a look around. 6 handpumps on the bar but only 3 beers doubled up. The Dizzy Blonde I had in here was the best pint of Robbies I'd had all day, what a shame it's not really a pub anymore.

Recently refurbished and renamed apparently. Essentially its a 3 roomed pub with a tap room to your right and a lounge and little snug to your left. Lots of surpringly real single roses adorn all tables. A pleasant looking beer garden is to the rear. It seems to be leaning towards food trade but it does have 6 handpumps with 5 dispensing Robinson's beers and one pumping out Old Rosie.
