Travellers Call is a typical Manchester pub with a central foyer and four small rooms, one in each corner. There’s a big bell in the foyer with no explanation attached and in the right rear is a dartboard. There was some background music playing off a radio during my recent Tuesday evening visit, I noted that karaoke is advertised for weekends when I would be avoiding. This is a Robinsons pub so Unicorn was available from the two hand pumps. I must admit that I’ve had better and would probably stick to the standard keg like everyone else next time. This is certainly not a destination pub, but the landlady was friendly so it’s worth a look if passing.

A small, yet multi roomed pub. There are two rooms to the right, one with an aquarium that had been restocked since Al's visit, at least there was more than one fish anyway. The lounge area to the front left was full of pleasant old boys and the final area to the rear of the pub was full of people that you really wouldn't want to drink with. So a real melting pot of a place. There were also several feral kids around the pub. Two handpumps on the bar, but only Unicorn available which was just about OK. I really didn't take to this one at all.

What looks like a small pub from the outside actually consists of 4 small rooms. Lots of nautical nic-naks dotted around. The room to your left, which has the servery, has a U-shaped banquette, the room to your right has a fish tank with a single yellowy orange fish looking at its own reflection. The other two rooms I'm afraid I didn't look in. Two handpumps with only one on serving Robinson's Unicorn.
