Still an old fashioned local, which means it could do with a bit of decoration inside, its just off the former railway track that acts as a bridleway between Whitby & Scarborough.

The decoration is a little plain but it has been taken over fairly recently and the opening hours are increasing and slowly more emphasis on food. There is a restaurant to one side that is sometimes in use.

Nice enough place just needs a little more.
