A down at heel boozer, two bars a larger to the right with the counter and a smaller room to to side with a pool table and broad serving hatch type of affair. Two unused pulls, a rake of national kegs and Sam Smiths Taddy Lager on sale, the beer mats and bar mats were Sam’s as well. Plain decor, leatherette banquette seating, Britannia tables, dodgy stripy carpet. A classic of this type of friendly locals pub.
