Old school Robinsons pub, just outside the town centre. As you enter the main room is to the right, as is the bar. There's another small room to the left. It's quite a cosy space with lots of bric-a-brac around the pub. The floor is very uneven in places, so it's probably carpet over flag flooring. Fairly quiet during my late Friday afternoon visit with only 5 or 6 people in the pub, but they appeared friendly, as was the young guy behind the bar. Four handpumps on the go with Robbies Unicorn, Enigma, Dizzy Blonde and a seasonal whose name escapes me. I'm not a great fan of Robbies beer, but you have to drink it quite a lot of the time in Stockport, but my pint was a very decent pint of Enigma. It's a good locals pub that appears to be holding up under the direct competition from it's more famous neighbour across the road, The Crown.

Our first port of call Land lord tried to talk to us but there was a gob sh---t at the bar who new every thing we had two pints each he had only had about an inch in his and still had it when we left. Very quiet just the one customer
Called back on the 14th of March just like before just a customer in and a girl behind the bar they were talking about the landlord they said he was not well he as had a stroke pity he seemed a nice chap the first time i went in .

The Pineapple Inn is a Robinsons tied house.
I had a very nice drink of Robinsons bitter here.
