Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Shore Hotel

Solid old inn down by the harbour bridge in Old Laxey, with a single square bar featuring just the sort of traditional furniture and nautical decor that you would expect. Also has a line of wooden picnic benches along the riverside. Well maintained, with various food offers on different days of the week. Fairly limited range of beers; but, as a long-standing brew-pub, the Bosun Bitter (£2.80) is the main attraction here.

Lovely comfortable community local that happens to be a brew pub. They also keep a good stock of whiskies and each table has an impressive whisky menu. The local Old Laxey Bosuns Bitter went down very well. It is quite a walk down the hill towards the shore, but it in a lovely situation by a small river that runs alongside its garden. There is an infrequent bus serice.
