A basic brick built pub on the outside, but the inside of the pub is really good looking with lots of wood panelling. There's a small beer garden at the rear and live music was advertised for later on my Friday, early evening visit. It's a bit foody, but not over the top. 5 handpumps on the bar with 4 clipped, all Robbies sadly, although the Dizzy Blonde was in good nick. I quite liked this place, but who knows what it's like later on?

A pleasant enough Robinson's pub. Two rooms with beige coloured seats. Wooden floored and wood panelled. 4 handpumps dispensed 2 Robinson's beers, Wizard and Unicorn plus a coming soon guest. A beer garden to the rear.

The Dog and Partridge is a Robinsons tied house in the great moor area of Stockport.
The Robinsons bitter was very nice.
Pub visited 9 March 1989.
