A traditional village pub ,pretty much unchanged from when I was an occasional visitor 20 or so years ago.I would say looking at the building it was once a two bar pub,these now opened out to make one main room,this is carpeted with various seating and bar stools at the bar to the rear of the room,two extensions have been added either side of the main building creating a couple of extra rooms(before I ever drank here),the larger one is basically set out for dining purposes,and the smaller houses a pool table. On the bar is the usual fizzy keg stuff and 5 hand pumps,three were in use with a rather run of the mill selection, Otter Bitter, Courage Best and Doom Bar.
The Sun is a perfectly OK community pub but no more than that and I wouldn't go out of my way to add another visit.
