The Fountain Head was a large stand alone pub that was set well back from the road,the upper half was in mock tudor.
Once inside i went into a largish room that had a central bar the room was carpeted and had normal tables and chairs,the room looked quite smart and was also comfortable.
This pub was a Youngs tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Youngs bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Youngs Special.
I quite liked this pub and would have happily stayed longer if not on a pub crawl.
I am surprised that Youngs have sold this pub off as it was one of the better pubs in Thornton Heath.
