Not greatly changed on a revisit but if anything even more Irish, and several TVs fight for domination with the craic. The interior has become somewhat over the top, including a little garden bar at the back complete with artificial turf (inside). The large patio garden behind is well tabled and includes several covered structures. A set of three pumps promised Atlantic, Sea Fury and Doom Bar but were off, however the Guinness was of course very good.
Original review Jan 2020
Given that it is a moderately impressive-looking pub in a fairly posh neighbourhood, it was something of a surprise to find a sporting locals' pub with a strong Irish flavour. The wood-panelled walls are liberally decorated with rugby shirts, Guinness flags etc between the numerous sports TVs. To one side is a sort of snug area round a pool table, while the other side extends back to a garden. Ales on were Sea Fury, London Pride and Doom Bar in reasonable order. Still signed as the Greyhound but also known locally as Sextons.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Greyhound
Substantial, traditional-looking pub which appears to be an example of 'brewers Tudor' but which was actually built as a golf-course clubhouse. Thoroughly refurbished inside, with the partially opened out 'L'-shape interior having been furnished with semi-mod furniture and light wooden panelling. Busy rear beer garden on a sunny afternoon. Three of eight handpumps operational, with Butcombe Bitter (£3.75), Betty Stogs and Rev James on offer when I called by.
