Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Royal
Mostly single-storey Shepherd Neame pub / restaurant, in a fine position towards the eastern end of the Marine Parade. It retains a separate bar and dining room, both of a reasonable size and tidily furnished, plus a front and side beer garden (with the former part having an almost unobstructed view of the sailing boats and distant windfarm. Master Brew (£4.55, and in fine form) and Bishops Finger available from the bank of four handpumps on each side of the central servery.
