Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kings Arms

Fine-looking old hotel with an imposing three-storey facade and a side passageway through to the yard at the back (now a pleasant patio beer garden). On the other hand, the bar area has been given a rather anonymous corporate makeover that doesn't have any sense of history. The kitchen was temporarily out of action for some reason, and the trouble didn't stop there because there was no Greene King IPA or Abbot from the three handpumps due to a cooler problem. Made do with a keg Icebreaker pale ale (£2.85, half).
