Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf
Thankfully reopened as a pub after being a members club when not closed during the Covid-19 era. Opened out layout featuring the dining area at the front and the bar down a couple of steps at the back. Refurbished in a semi-traditional style and enlivened with some festive decorations when I finally managed to get in on my fifth attempt over the last 3 1/2 years. That achieved, any enthusiasm quickly waned as there were no real ale on the solitary handpump and half the keg taps were off too (apparently waiting for the post-Christmas delivery). Made do with a slightly grumpy Moretti (£5.70) as I certainly didn't want to give it yet another try at a later date.
