Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Saint John's Yard

Funny little place, previously going under various different names (including, most recently, Lava). Original layout opened out to form a 'L'-shaped bar. Eclectic selection of furniture and decor. Part-covered patio beer garden to the rear larger than the pub interior. Two of three handpumps working when I called in, offering the regular Harveys (£3.30) plus St Austell Trelawney as a guest. Two polypins dispensing Whitehead ciders also noted.
