Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Imperial
This normally solid-looking Shepherd Neame corner pub is currently hidden behind scaffolding, and the interior has been refurbished in a sparse, semi-traditional style since my last visit many years ago. Not a lot of furniture in the front bar at the moment for social distancing reasons, but there other seating / dining areas further back at a patio garden to one side. With two of the three handpumps in use, I found Whitstable Bay Pale (£4.40) and Spitfire being offered as the real ales.
