A rather spacious pub with more of a restaurant vibe than that of a pub, seems to be still operating a table service system as I was soon ushered away from the bar as I aproached to inspect the four handpumps, beers on offer were Long Man Rising Giant, Langham Best and Old Dairy Blue Top, the Blue top wasn't in particularly good shape so I didn't linger long and left not suprised I was the only customer there during my brief stay.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Guinea Butt

A Greene King pub, located on the edge of the central shopping area, and comprising a large 'L'-shaped room created from the original floor plan. Part-traditional / part-modern furniture and decor. Two banks of three handpumps, and on this visit I found IPA, London Glory and the seasonal Rocking Rudolph (£3.35) doubled-up. Overall, whilst this can make a reasonably bolt-hole if the retail therapy all gets a bit much, I have had reservations about the staff attitude in here for as long as I can remember (and some of the regulars can also be a bit of a nuisance).
