Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crystal Palace Inn
Plain brick exterior, and the inside is also fairly basic (comprising a smallish 'L'-shaped bar with functional wooden furniture). There is also a very tidy split-level patio beer garden out back, which is quite a pleasant spot if the dogs are not in the way and the sun's out. Two handpumps, with Doom Bar and Wadworth St George & the Dragon (£3.50) available on my latest visit (but the range of pump clips around the walls indicates a reasonable rotation policy). Overall, despite its proximity to the Royal Victoria Place, very much one for the locals rather than visiting shoppers.

Strongers . left this review about The Crystal Palace Inn
I was the only customer in the Crystal Palace on the Monday afternoon I visited three weeks ago. The guy behind the bar was polite enough, but I wasn’t so keen on the three pub dogs that were effortlessly crushing bones in their mouths. This is an L shaped pub with a couple of TVs for showing Sky Sports and there is a dartboard by the entrance. The walls are adorned with old pump clips, but only one of the two hand pumps was operational during my visit and it was drawing Palace Blonde Ale (crafted for fans apparently –yawn!). There is a limited draught selection and the Guinness was perfectly acceptable. There is a beer garden out the back but I didn’t take a look as I would have had to step over two of the dogs.
I doubt that I will be returning here soon.
