Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Carpenters Arms
Substantial pub / restaurant / hotel located just beyond the outskirts of Tonbridge on the Hadlow side. Not visited for years, but then twice in a fortnight, but good to see the place busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoons in these difficult times. It is also currently operating an efficient table-service system using a QR code on your table to order, but thankfully through its website and not requiring a separate app to be installed. The weather was also good enough on our first visit to sit outside in the front patio, but was rather horrible on the second but we secured on of the rustic covered pods in the rear garden on the second. However, if you do go inside, you will find a smart modernised interior with several different seating / dining areas. Usually has four real ales on offer, but the range is temporarily reduced at the moment to Harvey's (£4.50), Larkins Traditional (£4.00) plus Platinum Blonde from Mad Cat second time round.
