A distinctive corner pub with a round end, previously called the Fighting Cocks. Deceptively big on the outside it is a single room roughly rectangular or maybe T shaped with the counter to the left. This has a number of signs preventing bar blockers on the short and long arm of its’ L shape. Just three T-bars of normality on 14 keg taps but Fosters was doubled and John Smiths trebled! Usual complement of screens, machines and piped music, although the music stopped when the bingo was on. Older range of punters so maybe that explains the bingo but not the bar blocking signs. Football game in the urinals to keep gentlemen on the ball.
