Excellent village pub which shows that you can build a thriving food trade without destroying the character of the pub. A central bar with an eating sort of room to the right, and a public bar sort of room to the left. Also a new conservatory and garden at the rear. A good range of local beers on offer, plus the aforementioned food, so seemed deservedly popular. Decorated with assorted artefacts, including a row of cricket bats, but more importantly a good atmosphere. Recommended.
