Nice little local pub with a slightly confined feel from the internal pillars and walls, probably from its considerable age, although the front room has more windows and a brighter feel. Beers still Courage Best and Proper Job, with a third not on at time of visit; condition excellent - Cask Marque accredited.

The Kings Arms is a nice looking pub.
Once inside there is a roughly L shaped room with the bar to the rear right,there is a wood floor.
There are pew seats and chairs and normal tables and chairs for seating,the room is divided into different areas by walls,the rear right side is up one step.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Courage Best,which was a nice drink,the other real ales were St Austell Proper Job and Brains Rev James.
Background music was playing.
I quite liked this pub,just like a country pub but in a city.

The Kings Arms reopened Monday 8th September with a relief manager in situ.
There is an Enterprise Inns sign on the outside wall "Pub Business To Let".
