A good sized purpose built Robinsons tied house. The pub consisted of three main areas, the central part with a good sized dark mahogany bar area, and a side lounge. A quieter lounge towards the front with a high vaulted roof and wallpapered walls.
There was a good sized dining area on the right hand side, which looked well staffed, didn't really look at the menu. The manager was pleasant and served an extremely well kept Robinsons Unicorn, plus the whole pub was spotlessly clean. Four handpumps serving Robinsons Trooper and Unicorn.
