Strongers . left this review about The Weaver
Located adjacent to a parade of local shops, the Weaver is a flat roof pub that advertises itself as a bar and restaurant. By the entrance are some picnic tables on some fake grass and around to the right is a decked seating area that faces a car park. Inside a door to the left with a window etched with ‘Public Bar’ leads to a dining area that was empty during a recent Monday late afternoon visit. The L-shaped bar on the right wall serves this front area and the main bar area to the right that was busy with a local crowd. For some reason they had pushed the tables to within a couple of feet of the bar making it inaccessible. I had to get the attention of the polite barmaid before being served in the front bar. Very strange seeing as there was plenty of room to the right where a pool table can also be found. The television was off, but BT Sport is shown when a match is on.
There is a bank of three duplicate hand pumps on each bar counter. One was unused which left Robinson’s Unicorn and TT Boltmaker as the cask options. Standard keg was also available. This is a popular local community pub.
