Old rural pub which has been much extended into primarily a restaurant, but retaining a small comfortable bar area. Enter through the old front door, rather than the car park, to see traces of the original pub. Beers at time of visit from Wincle, Thwaites and Black Sheep, and seemed well kept. Staff friendly and food very good - recommended for dining (also has accommodation).
