Was formerly a trendy food outlet but recently re-opened as a pub/bar. Almost deserted on my Saturday afternoon visit. Doom Bar and Bath Gem on the pumps, my Gem was fair enough. Pretty big inside if a little sparse on the creature comforts, bar the leather sofas and pot plants. Live music advertised. If they can try and entice the Grain Barge crowd over they might just get it to work but I think it’s just too big and not offering stuff you can’t get elsewhere within a 5-10 minute walk.

Re-opened about four months ago after a spell as a bistro and then closed for a while. Good to see it back to being a proper pub.
Not much changed inside, but then it's fine as it is anyway. A friendly landlord who at one time had Braggs (Queen's Head) in Nailsea, he's working hard to get trade built up by encouraging use by community groups and getting bands in at the weekend.
Beers were Doom Bar and Jem, plus Bulmers, Taunton Traditional and Thatcher's Gold ciders.
