Large open room on a street corner the space follws the bar in a 'U'. Modernised in a nice respectful way there are some sofas and wood chairs/tables & some high stools. Modern music playing.

4 real ales of good quality.

The only bad thing is the disgusting lime green paint inside & out!

March 2009: Since last year the pub has been re-painted outside as the photo's show. The beer quality and choice gets better. We had a choice of 3 great beers all in good condition and the offer of a taster, in this area, this is a good choice of venue.

May 2006: The landlord here is really doing a good job in rotating a couple of pumps and keeping good well served beers. You can request tasters and during the day it is quite a good venue for a froth blowing session.
