Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Dudley Arms
Must once have been a coaching inn, but now thoroughly reconfigured inside into a carvery-type Marston's pub / restaurant. Partly opened-out to leave a variety of seating / dining areas, all with rather plain semi-modern furniture and decor. Also has some patio tables by the main (side) entrance. Disappointingly, just Banks's Sunbeam (£3.95) from the pair of handpumps.

A massive detached former Georgian house/coaching inn, that has been extended, to create a carvery and function suite that has a bar. It is in yellow render, with patio areas and is a part of the Marston's chain.
The inside is a massive open plan area (there is a function room as well). The place is in coffee, white and wood panel, with white and beam ceiling. There is a carvery serving area next to a serving bar and the place was a mass of eating tables, many with reserved signs on them - so it is a testament of how good their food is i guess. I on the other hand got a little irritated by the layout, the reserved signs and the abstract and bistro style art that adorned the walls. I approached the bar to get a menu (which is on the web-link i have provided) but put it back when i examined the serving bar. I didn't see a TV or hear any music before i walked out.
Beer: tap stuff with Banks's MILD and bitter on keg, with EPA on handpull - there was also Pedigree dispensed via a keg tap.
I am sure this is a great place for those that see pubs as restaurants. I visit pubs for the beer and this place felt just like a food barn, with less choice than a Toby carvery, for example, regarding real ale choices to accompany a meal.

Went here for a family meal to celebrate our engagement and was extremely pleased with the whole service that we were given, was given our own room where we were waited on hand & foot, staff were very pleasant and friendly, food was second to none and reasonably priced, atmosphere was excellent, was make to feel very welcome would definatley recommend and would certainly return.
