Now reopened (June 2016) with the weird name of PUBBY MCPUBFACE.
Inside, there is the same open plan layout with three separate drinking areas, but everything is much cleaner and brighter. The bar has several tall fonts but still no Real Ale. The best thing I could find to drink was a strawberry & rhubarb cider that was cool, sweet and refreshing on a hot day, but far from what I like to drink on a regular basis.

The pub has been closed a few weeks but it is expected to reopen soon under new management.

It looks a bit tatty outside but isn't too bad inside. Separate drinking areas and a beer garden out back with decent views. No real ale.
