Alan Hurdle left this review about Colliers Arms
An excellent local and freehouse tucked away in the very narrow, pavement free streets in the Ponciau area of Rhosllanerchrugog. With its changing 3 to 4 cask beers it is a Real Ale oasis in an area of keg pubs or unreliable one national beer pubs. It has a slate floored lounge, a snug and a pool room. There is a garden to the rear. Parking is tight in the narrow streets but there is a small public car park 30 metres down the road. The pub has been Camra local pub of the year on two occasions and become a regular in the national GBG.
The pub is also home of Rhos Aelwyd FC who play nearby.
