Excellent pub in a rather nice old building, tucked away in a corner by the station. The multi-roomed interior has some wonderful features, including some good woodwork and door surrounds, and a gilt-fronted bar. To the side and rear are tabled dining rooms, while at the front are some splendid leather sofas for relaxing. It scores highly on the beer front too, with Facer's Flintshire Bitter and Mountain Mild joined by a couple of guests (Cotleigh Honey Buzzard and Torrside West of the Sun), plus a couple of crafty kegs. A proper pub, with a friendly welcome and great beer.

"Best pub in Rhyl by a Country Mile". I could not agree more with a previous reviewer Black Country Mike. Excellent Purple Moose Glaslyn was one of the five Real Ales. European football was showing in the bar area and pool room but there was solace in the quiet snug at the back of the pub if needed. Its access to the bus and rail stations (just under the arch outside the pub entrance) is an added bonus.

This is an old pub next door to the bus and railway stations.
You enter into a bar area with a tiled floor. To the left is a room with a TV screen (off), a pool table and a dart board. Behind the bar area is a snug.
The bar has five hand pumps which had Banks's Mild, Marston's Pedigree & Burton Bitter, Buzzard Vale Ale and Conwy Rampart. I went for the Buzzard one (£2.95) which was in good nick. This is a good old fashioned boozer with a couple of local guests so well worth a visit.
