The Union Inn built around 1822 is a Grade B listed building. The L-shaped bar greets you as you enter the closeted front door. There are cast iron columns with decorative tops. The bar serves draught beer, such as Carling, Strongbow, Strongbow dark fruit, Tennents, Strongbow & Menabrea in their own special pump by an Italian brewing company in Biella , Piedmont. There is food available by their own in-house chef. The food can be eaten in the pub style restaurant and also in the bar area. You must try out their potato scone nachos. The pub at the time of visiting had plenty of friendly locals and the pub soon filled up with American tourists who were visiting the local areas.
