A new paint job recently makes the place stand out more. This is a very friendly pub and one always feels welcome no matter how rarely one visits. An old building since 1902 and the upper floors are held up by poles various location about the bar area. No real ale, standard drinks selection. Not to bother about this, it is a very welcoming pub.
