The Claremont sits down lower than the main road and during most of the year is half hidden by the large leafy trees. It is a large one roomed open plan with raised level operating as a restaurant serving very good quality food. The place, when entering give the impression of being a restaurant only, but it does have a half-separated bar area. The serving bar is a large quarter circle. There is plenty of seating at the bar area as you enter the building from the side entrance. There is a beer garden with plenty of benches and considering the local Lidl shop is in the building next door the outside seating area is reasonably secluded. On draught there is Peroni. Stella, Bud Light, Joker IPA, Magners, & Harviestoun & Orchard Pig Reveller. The place is open 11am daily, serving food from 12pm to 8.30pm every day. There is some parking at the rear of the building but mostly within the Lidl car park
